Where can I call for reservations?
To make individual reservations go to our Reservation page. All tickets are sold based upon availability for specific departure dates, times and locations. Tickets may be purchased starting 30 days in advance of the date you wish to go. More tickets may become available for tours if people who have tickets do not show up. During the weekends and summer, tickets may sell out early. We suggest you buy your tickets in advance. Tours depart rain or shine.
For group reservations call 305.394.2812. To get the time, date and number of seats on the same tour contact us as early as possible.
Some dates are sold out in advance. Sales are based upon availability. Specific departure dates, times and locations, may be non-refundable and may not be exchanged.
How do I purchase tickets online?
Online purchases can be made any day within 30 days in before your tour from your computer or your smartphone. Click here to order.
If we buy tickets on the web, where do we pick them up?
You do not need to pick tickets up. You can print your tickets out at home before you come at the time of purchase. Bring the printout and a photo ID with you. Take it straight to the boarding area.
If you make your purchase online from your smartphone, just bring your smartphone with you, your confirmation number and a photo ID.
All ticket holders are requested to give a phone number to be reached at during the day in case of cancellations.
Are vehicles accessible?
NO. Due to the historic design of these replicas, our vehicles are not accessible.
Is this a hop on and hop off kind of attraction?
No. The tour has no stops.
Can tour guides accept gratuities?
At the discretion of the guest, gratuities are welcomed and customary for a job well done. For groups of 20+ and private tours, we will add an automatic 10% gratuity. All student groups of 20 or more will have a 5% gratuity added to their tour.
Can you request a specific tour guide?
No. Groups of 20 or more people may be able to request a tour guide when booking one month ahead of time.
How wet will we get on the tour?
Our boats splash down into the harbor. More than likely you will not get wet. Depending on the direction of the wind there may be a light mist from the splash down but you will not get soaked. On rainy days you will get wet due to the open air nature of the vehicle. There are no windows.
What will I see on my tour?
Discover the landmarks around Key West: Southernmost Point, Duval Street, Hemingway House, Audubon House, Custom House, Mel Fisher, Treasure Museum, Sloppy Joes, Margaritaville, Sunset Key, Mallory Dock and Key West Harbor on this 70-minute tour. At the water's edge, we will "splashdown" in the water for our ocean journey. Some sites or points of interest may not be seen in case of community events, construction, or activities that require route changes and alterations. Yellow Duck Tours reserves the right to change, alter, cancel routes for weather, traffic, special events related reasons.
How long is the water tour?
The water portion of the tour is about 20 minutes of the tour.
Is alcohol allowed on board?
No. It is illegal to have alcohol on board the vehicles. Yellow Duck Tours reserves the right to not permit intoxicated patrons on the vehicles and will terminate the tour for anyone that appears to be intoxicated.
Can I get specific seats?
Seats are on a first come, first served basis when you board.
Are the vehicles air conditioned and heated?
The vehicles are not heated. These are open-air vehicles. We suggest dressing for the weather, as it can be windy and cooler on the water.
What happens during severe weather?
Yellow Duck Tours run daily rain or shine unless otherwise decided by the management and local authorities. If there is inclement weather or severe weather watches, we may be forced to cancel the water portion or the entire tour. If Yellow Duck Tours is unable to provide the water portion of the tour, guests will do the land portion of the tour for half of the ticket price. If Yellow Duck Tours is forced to cancel the entire tour, guests will receive a full refund. Cancellations are done at the discretion of the Dispatcher based on the current weather conditions at the time of the tour.
